Green Job Feeds and WidgetsThis document was last updated on July 11, 2009. Green Job Feed makes it easy to stay up to date on the latest renewable energy jobs. In addition to our website, which offers two ways to search and organize jobs, we also have built-in email forms so you can share positions with friends and family and an RSS feed that you can easily subscribe to using any reader. We've also added a custom RSS Feed generator which connects to an email alerts tool and if you create an account we offer customized job alerts inside. Basic Tools:
Widgets:We are constantly working on new and innovative ways for job seekers and publishers to participate in the growth of our industry and we invite you to share feedback and suggestions via the red tab on the left or our contact form. Just below are our first round of Green Job Widgets that can be customized and embeded on your site or blog. Feel free to contact us for a design update or different size configuration.
Custom Search:Just below is a custom search engine powered by Google. Aside from the quick search located in the top right corner of every Green Job Feed page and the three advanced search options on the home page including Job Title, Location and Description this additional search tool will help you explore the site. We recognize Google as a leader in the search technology landscape and beyond that, their large investment in renewable energy including such great firms as Nanosolar.
Custom RSS & Email Alerts:This next tool is designed to help jobseekers keep track of new positions by subscribing to a custom RSS feed or email alert. Simply enter the job title, industry, location or other criteria matching your dream job and press go. Sometimes simpler is better, if your description is too complex there might not be any results, at least not yet! By subscribing to the RSS feed for your results you will get updates as new positions are added. If you don't use RSS and would prefer email alerts just copy the URL from the "RSS Feed" link on the right hand side and paste it into this handy email alert tool offered by Yahoo!
