Position Overview:
The rapid proliferation of worldwide environmental legislation with substance control directives such as RoHS and REACH and the new initiatives in Sustainability and Carbon Management, leads us to create a position for a Managing Consultant based out of our US Headquarters in San Jose, California. Your main role will be to research worldwide environmental legislation, and to analyse and crystallize the most significant aspects for supporting clients in consulting projects, running educational Webinars and presenting Workshops.
Qualifications:
You will have a good understanding and experience of the current environmental directives including RoHS and REACH and how they impact companies working predominately in the electronics and healthcare sectors. You will have a strong aptitude for software and you will liaise with our development team to ensure our applications support the environmental needs of our current and potential customers. Of advantage would be experience with WEEE, Packaging, and Battery fee charging directives.
You will have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline, with exceptional written, oral presentation and communication skills. This position will suit a self-motivated and highly proactive individual; your progression in the company will be through working with our sales team and existing Managing Consultants to help build a profitable environmental compliance consulting practice.
