Wind Energy Sales Director

Position Overview:
SKF USA, Inc. is recruiting for the Sales Director of the Energy segment. This position will be responsible for the successful development of the Energy business for the SKF Industrial Division USA focusing on Wind and revewable energy.
The position is based just outside of Philadelphia, PA in Kulpsville, the USA corporate headquarters. Customer development and the promotion of all 5 platforms is key to the success to this position. The Director will lead a high performing team comprised of Sales, Customer Service and Applications Engineers.
Other responsibilities include effective cooperation with the SKF global organization, segments and other business units to drive profitable growth in the Energy segment.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent preferred BS preferrably in engineering required.
- 5 to 7 years in Sales with documented history of developing sales with multinational companies, with managerial responsibility, Wind Turbine Sales a plus.
- Innovative and effective leadership in a global environment.
- Ability to create a team spirit and influence across organizational units.
- Proven track record in successful international management both in growth and profitability.
- Personal drive, commitment and teamwork, able to manage change initiatives and how to use Six Sigman to achieve results.
- Ability to coach others and develop talent.
- Good understanding of wind energy market and other renewable energy applications, able to demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise and able to apply and share this knowledge effectively with the team.
- In depth knowledge and use of negotiating skills
- Excellent communcation skills, organizational ability and positive leadership.
- Ability to successfully interact with key OEM customer's executive management.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for profitable business growth.
- Proactively seek customer and market intelligence and create new opportunities for the defined Energy business which includes wind energy and renewable energy applications like solar and tidal.
- Manager global and regional strategic accounts.
- Ability to review and set price levels for customer groups in the Energy Business.
- International travel: 10-20% (passport required)
- Regional trave: 50%
