Position Overview:

Sustainability Advisor, LEED-EB Senior Project Manager will guide and deliver sustainability and LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance programs for existing buildings projects. This candidate will have demonstrated experience with LEED-EB projects and be able to coach and support project teams as well as other Brightworks staff.

Additional work requirements include developing and directing new service packages, developing new business, managing client relationships and supporting Brightworks LEED-EB marketing efforts by speaking and writing about existing buildings project expertise in the market.

Qualifications:

Skill and experience requirements include:

• 5-8 years experience in a facilities management, energy systems management or other green building operations role
• Experience working with commercial building property management and engineering/operations teams to identify environmental and operational cost savings opportunities
• Deep understanding of existing building property management and technical building operations issues
• Experience working with a building participating in a LEED for Existing Buildings certification
• Full sales cycle experience, including proposal writing
• Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication, management, presentation and group process skills
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
• Deep passion and personal commitment to sustainability
• Willing to travel
