Wind Energy Turbine Repair Technician Instructor

Position Overview:
Responsible for the development, coordination and instruction of courses in the new wind energy maintenance technician program at the Calmar campus. Must possess a comprehensive understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical principles as well as direct experience with rotary power systems and hydraulic systems.
Qualifications:
Must possess an AAS in Industrial Electricial Theory and a journeyman electrical license, (BA and/or Master's Electrician's license preferred), and/or special training and a minimum of 6,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in specialized electrical and wind technical skills in operations and maintenance. Must be able to meet and maintain Quality Faculty Plan credentialing requirements for Northeast Iowa Community College.
