Position Overview:
Lead a Federally-funded green jobs training program operated by 6 Goodwills in their local communities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong grant management and leadership skills; the ability to guide, oversee, and support on-site and off-site team members; and experience guiding multi-site operations.
Experience with Workforce Investment Act funded programs, workforce development, best practice documentation, and green jobs is strongly desired.
This new position is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration and is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The position's continuance is dependent upon on-going funding.
Education:
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business management, social or human services, or education; master's degree preferred.
Skills:
At least 3 years experience in multi-site grant management, staff supervision, data management systems, and budgets.
