Project Manager, Renewable Energy

Responsibilities:
- Preliminary site visits to assess feasibility studies for potential projects.
- Project estimating & proposal writing for potential projects.
- Responsible for day to day construction activities including: maintaining schedules, coordinating work with internal resources and subcontractors, material management, safety and quality control management, and interfacing with customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with customer, building inspectors, subcontractors & suppliers.
- Working with project managers to insure projects costs, schedule and quality are maintained
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is a plus.
Work Atmosphere:
- Construction activities typically includes grading and excavation, underground electrical, new utilities (electrical, water, sewer, phone), structural slab on grade foundations, CMU walls, process piping and process controls, and explosion proof electrical.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of Project Management in construction experience on projects ranging from $3 million to $20 million.
- Possess a solid working knowledge of the Building Codes (UBC, IBC, or CBC) and have excellent blueprint reading skills.
- Must be able to manage construction activities for our renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge and experience of construction management processes, means, and methods is required.
- Must possess experience in construction management efforts to ensure that the project delivery adheres to approved design, budget, and schedule.
- Ability to take initiative and create solutions while collaborating with internal and external clients.
- Individual should understand the value of project delivery and is conscious of cost complexity, the importance of time and the need to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen conditions.
- Good communication, writing, and computer skills are essential.
- Ability to travel
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, or willingness to learn AutoCAD a plus.
