Position Overview:

PECI seeks a Senior Marketing Services Manager to lead a cross functional marketing group focused on delivery of client programs. These programs encompass comprehensive energy efficiency measures for the residential and commercial markets. Integrated marketing communications initiatives span channels including but not limited to: advertising, events, program collateral and materials, promotional campaigns via web and direct mail and social media. This role will manage the execution on overall program strategies, resource allocation and implementation of best in class approaches to program marketing. We seek a results-driven visionary who can guide, grow and build the marketing team in service and delivery of client programs.

Operating in a fast-paced consulting environment, the Senior Marketing Services Manager has the primary responsibility for effective delivery of client program marketing across multiple functional areas including strategy, branding, implementation, design and production. The ideal candidate will have broad-based functional and marketing channel experience, will excel at business management to build revenue streams and will guide and motivate the team in leading-edge best practices. They'll have stellar analytical, conceptual and creative abilities and be proficient at interpreting complexity while leading change. Industry background in energy, sustainability or environmental programs is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

• Drive development and implementation of marketing communications plans, guiding collaboration with program teams to determine marketing goals, priorities and promotional concepts
• Provide strategic and senior leadership oversight in deployment of marketing plans and execution of deliverables
• Develop staff resources providing mentoring, coaching and performance reviews
• Establish and oversee tracking mechanisms to facilitate the analysis and evaluation of marketing effectiveness
• Build and manage multiple marketing budgets including labor and directs
• Collaborate with program teams to keep informed on program offerings, products and services for marketing messaging articulation and alignment with marketing goals
• Drive strategic planning and goal setting in collaboration with programs, defining requirements and applying results from analysis
• Create, develop and maintain client brand standards and lead opportunities for leveraging program successes for PECI visibility
• Oversee resource planning including allocation of labor hours to meet departmental revenue goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferred
• A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in strategic marketing development and project management in a corporate and/or consulting environment
• Ability to interpret and analyze marketing plans to develop appropriate communications program strategies and results (business model building, results tracking and interpretation)
• Ability to think and communicate creatively and strategically
• Experience formulation and management of budget and resource allocation for multiple projects
• Demonstrated team building and management skills
• A deep, professional-level expertise in copywriting and editing
• Strong leadership, communication and persuasion skills
• Flexible with the ability to work with a variety of staff meeting dynamic demand
• Strong business management skills including resource planning, analysis, budgeting and operations
