EPC Wind Farm Power Systems Engineer

The Role
As part of the Power Systems Engineering team you will ensure that my client\'s expertise in wind energy is fully utilised to provide their customers with complete turnkey solutions. This close-knit team provides expertise & consultancy in wind data analysis, the pre-design & design of plants, grid connections and substations and operation & maintenance. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager you will help to develop the EPC par of the business and your main responsibilities & duties will include but will not be limited to the following: -
- Design & Engineering of Wind Farm Plants & Substations
- Apparatus Specifications
- Supplier Qualification, Selection & Contract Negotiation
- Creating & Implementing Electrical EPC Strategy & Guidelines
- Creating IPR Profile
- Developing Business Relationships & Expanding Networks
The Candidate
As a Power Systems Engineer you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING - an M.Sc is also preferred. Ideally you should have an international background gained with companies in transmission, TSO or wind farm development.
Essential Criteria
- 3+ years experience in the design & engineering of wind farms & substations
- Experience in wind farm simulation
- Fluency in ENGLISH & GERMAN
- Methodical & results-orientated approach
- Ability to work as part of a team with a shared goal
- Positive attitude, drive and dynamism
- Multi-cultural awareness
- Flexibility & willingness to travel
