Regional Sales Manager- Southwest

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest region.
Basic Functions:
Responsible for sales volume and profit delivery for specific Region for all products produced and authorized for sale by Coleman Natural Foods. The successful candidate will have strong natural and conventional retail connections, and will ideally be located in Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with Coleman Natural Foods' Divisions to ensure timely sale and delivery of their products to customers.
- Directly manages accounts residing within Region. Communicates approved activity by accounts to VP Sales and other Region Managers as applicable.
- Expands distribution of products with existing and new customers.
- Conducts broker interviews, evaluation and selection.
- Manages region promotion budget by account, market and total region.
- Manage regional sales administration budget as contained in the annual operating plan and subsequent updates.
- Forecasts sales by Coleman Natural Food's company and product lines. Submits forecasts as required to Coleman Natural Foods and sister companies.
- Manages travel and other miscellaneous expenses as budgeted.
- Supports the sales planning and execution of accounts for appropriate Coleman Natural Food's Divisions.
- Works closely with all Coleman Natural Foods Company Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, Plant Product Managers, Region Managers and Brokers and to develop and execute volume and profit plans.
- Meets sales volumes objectives as projected in the annual operating plan and subsequent updates.
- Meets profit goals objectives as projected in the annual operating plan and subsequent updates.
- Timely and effective communications with all internal team members required to execute the region responsibilities.
- Manages assigned account strategies and sales objectives.
- Oversees excellent relationships with all customers on behalf of Coleman Natural Foods.
- Assists with special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in communicating effectively and managing multiple food brokers in the Region.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales, Meat Industry preferred.
- Extensive experience in forecasting and selling perishable food products, and a sense of urgency for selling on a short-term basis.
- Proficient in Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree a plus but not required.

- Applicant must be able to work out of the home and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Self-starter who can accomplish tasks without extensive supervision.
- Frequent travel required.
