Product Manager / R&D Engineers Photovoltaics

Position Overview:
To further expand our growth in the field of photovoltaics, we are looking to fill the positions of Product Manager and R&D Engineers Photovoltaics in our new MAGE® SOLAR manufacturing plant in Dublin, GA.
Responsibilities:
The main duties for the position of Product Manager Photovoltaics are:
- Serve as primary technical expert on all products.
- Provide technical product support to both the sales and marketing departments.
- Identifying and recommending new product development opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Technical support for sales activities, including case study write-ups, technical data sheets and customer presentations
- Responsible for the product verification, validation and certification (UL, TÜV, etc.).
The main duties for the position of R&D Engineer Photovoltaic are:
- Responsible for the development of new products and improving existing products
- Coordination of product development projects from conception to product launch.
- Conducting technical feasibility studies, calculations, tests and trials
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Coordination and supervision of contracts at universities and research institutes as well as development partners
- Working closely with product management, sales and marketing
Qualifications:
For Product Manager Photovoltaics the qualifications are:
- BS or MS in mechanical or electrical engineering, other science or management degrees are acceptable. Professional Engineer preferred.
- Experience in product management of solutions in the area of renewable energy, preferably in photovoltaics.
- Solar photovoltaic experience
- Experience in certification processes (UL, IEC, etc...)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with demonstrated experience working in team environments
- Cost and quality conscious
For R&D Engineer Photovoltaic the qualifcations are:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering
- Experience as a development engineer, ideally in the photovoltaic sector Analytical thinking and cost-conscious, independent and result-oriented way of working
- Strong quality orientation Above-average commitment, flexibility and resilience Foreign languages (German or Spanish) is an advantage
