Web Content and Communications Coordinator

Position Overview:
Project Orianne is looking to hire a dedicated Web Content and Communications Coordinator to coordinate online communications and ensure our message is delivered on a global and domestic scale. The position is available immediately and will be based in Clayton, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
The Web Content and Communications Coordinator will work with the Project Orianne staff, fulfilling a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Managing and updating content for website and all social media sites.
- Writing online content.
- Managing e-advocacy and e-education campaigns.
- Maintain multimedia applications for the website and all social media sites.
- Compile and distribute relevant news stories.
- Contribute to web graphics and multimedia production.
- Regularly compile web and email campaign analytics into reports.
- List Management.
Qualifications:
- Experience creating/developing online outreach and communication platforms for multi-tiered campaigns.
- Bachelor degree or pursuing a Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with mass email production and Content Management Systems.
- Self-motivated, team player with strong people skills.
- Ability to innovate, prioritize and multi-task.
- Nonprofit and campaign experience preferred.
- Knowledge of conservation and/or reptiles and amphibians a plus
- Experience with public and media relations
- Graphic design experience/training, with excellent ICT skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Must have an interest in Project Orianne's Mission.
Compensation: This is a part-time term position with the potential to become full-time permanent. Pay is $1,000 monthly.
