Wind Analyst- Steinfurt and Hampshire

Our client is a highly successful project management support consultancy working within the renewable energy sector in the UK and Europe with an enviable and wide ranging client portfolio list.

Growth means they are looking for experienced wind Analysts to join them in the UK south and North West German office. You will be required to produce large scale wind reports that include wind data and analyses and site appraisal for both on and off-shore clients.

You will be part of a team within the wind analysis team that supports and develops the on & off-shore wind consultancy services.

We need people with a min of 3 years detailed understanding in this area from both a technical and commercial environment perspective.

Needed

•Basic understanding of the lower boundary layer physics
•3 years plus wind flow modelling and wind analysis. ( WindPro, Wasp et al)
•Demonstrable experience managing multi project work
•Fluent English. Written & spoken.
•Experience in technical management of wind measurement campaigns
•Experience using and understanding in detail other techniques such as Sodar and Lidar will be advantageous
•AutoCAD and/or ArcView experience is desirable.
•Proven track record within a wind modeller environment.
•Commercial awareness.
