Job Description :

The Manager of Government Compliance will be responsible for oversight of the development and management of the compliance program with respect to Solyndra’s participation in Department of Energy’s Loan Guarantee Program (LGP) and provide general support for Finance and Legal teams. The Compliance Manager will work cross-functionally to fully ensure compliance with the terms of the LGP, and other applicable laws and regulations.  This position will report to the Corporate Controller.  
 

Responsibilities:

• Providing compliance guidance and training to stakeholders with respect to the terms of the LGP, applicable laws and regulations.
• Establish policies and procedures cross-functionally to ensure compliance.
• Conduct investigations of identified non-compliance or misconduct and provide input for corrective actions and preventative measures. 

Job Requirements :

• Five to seven years of government regulatory/contract management experience and a Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with a manufacturing company
• Must have knowledge and experience to act upon compliance issues related to government programs. 
• Must be able to prioritize projects and departmental deliverables in order to ensure compliance.
• Experience in performing site and system audits as necessary to prevent non-compliance.
• Lead/Coordinate the government audit with respect to the LGP.
